Early Birds: If you are the eager fair-goer who is at the gates at the crack of dawn, you could start your day with a fruit-filled crepe at French Creperie while you wait for the exhibit halls to open.
Stick-To-Your-Ribs Comfort Food: Iron Range Meat & Potatoes – described by Giggles’ Campfire Grill as “A hearty portion of seasoned beef with a layer of cheddar cheese, topped with mashed potatoes, baked, and drizzled with a wild rice gravy.” You might want to skip the cheddar if that’s a trigger for your migraines. We’re guessing with all the potatoes and gravy, you won’t miss it.
New To The Fair: Tot hotdish at Tot Boss or tacos on hot fry bread at OOF-da Tacos (skip the cheese and onions if they are triggers for your migraines).
Feeling Adventurous: How about some alligator at Bayou Bob’s? They have an option that is sauteed in garlic olive oil rather than deep fat fried. You can be the final judge on whether it really does taste like chicken.
Craving The Classics: Grab a roasted ear of corn on the cob or some French fries.
Not A Fan Of Fried: Skip the grease when you opt for Charcoal Hut’s broiled turkey legs.
