At NDBC, we offer various Motorsports programs for all types of riders, racers, and athletes. Whether you are a professional or amateur racer, or just a weekend warrior that was injured in an accident racing your buddy, we have a program for everyone!

At the NDBC Motorsports clinic, we take a multidisciplinary approach towards treatment and management. We have a TEAM of Physicians, Audiologists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, all specifically trained in the field of treating accident based injuries.  You may see one or all of our specialists based on your initial evaluations with our providers over the course of your treatment plan, which generally is about a month or two in duration.

A Specialty Clinic like NDBC is designed to properly evaluate the likelihood and extent of damage a Motorsport accident may have had on your body’s neurological system as it relates to brain function, vision, mental health, and balance, which can be challenging at times given all the body systems that could be involved in an accident.

Hello… My name is Kenneth Ginkel, owner and MotorSports enthusiast and racer myself.  I am here to answer any questions you have about NDBC and our Evaluation and Treatment models for MotorSports Athlete’s.

Our Free Consultation is not designed to diagnose your condition or provide medical recommendations. It’s designed so you have an avenue to explore NDBC and our services and hopefully get some of your questions answered.

CONSULTATION DETAILS:

  • Your Free Medical Consultation will last 30 minutes at a clinic of your choosing, or the telephone.
  • We will discuss your current symptoms and concerns, past treatments, and your goals.
  • We will educate you on the on the types of conditions that are commonly seen here at NDBC.
  • We will educate you on the common treatment pathways and the roles of our providers.
  • We will educate you on the Audiology Balance Lab Testing that we do, why we do it, and why its important for an accurate diagnosis of your condition.
  • And finally… we will review your entire situation and put together a Medical Action Plan just for you! …. and if you desire, get your first appointment scheduled… best of all… Completely FREE for you!

How long is the Free Consultation?

We reserve 30 minutes for your initial case review. If a follow up 30 minute appointment is needed per your case, we will also provide you that free of charge to make sure your questions get answered!

Do I need to bring anything?

We recommend you bring any relevant medical records from prior appointments, as well as any accident related forms or paperwork you need help with understanding.

What type of doctors do you have?

National Dizzy and Balance Center (NDBC) is a unique outpatient clinic system.

We combine Physicians, Audiologists, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists, all within each facility to offer a true multidisciplinary approach.

Are your services covered by Insurance?

Yes! We have contracts with all the major insurance payers in town if you may be using your personal medical insurance, in the event your auto insurance denies or is exhausted.

We currently have contracts with these insurance payers in the MN area:

Aetna, Araz, America’s PPO, Auto Insurance Carriers, , Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Blue Plus, Cigna, Great West Healthcare, Healtheast, HealthPartners, Medicare, Medica, Preferred One, Patient Choice, Ucare, United Healthcare, Tri-West, & Workers Compensation Plans.

During your FREE CONSULTATION, we can verify your insurance plan is a covers the services offered here at NDBC.

Who will I meet with in my Free Consultation?

For your Free Consultation appointments you will be primarley meeting with myself, or another New Patient Specialist. You will not be meeting with any Doctors or providers, as these initial appointments are not meant to diagnose your injury or condition, but provide an assessment if NDBC is right for you.

How many appointments are needed to fix me?

When it comes to accidents in general, every person experiences different symptoms, aches, pains, and body chemistry that makes predicting appointment amounts challenging. But, in general, most of our patients in our programs typically average about 1-2x visits week for a month or two before completing their program.

When you become a patient and complete your comprehensive evaluation, our team will develop an individualized treatment plan just for you, that will have been developed in cooperation with the entire NDBC provider team. Your individual treatment plan will be very detailed and specific for your needs and will instruct you on what those visits will consist of.
