Overview
National Dizzy & Balance Center (NDBC) is a unique outpatient clinic system. We currently utilize physicians, audiologists, and physical therapists within each of our four Twin Cities clinic locations to offer a true multidisciplinary approach to treatment of various disorders. We are in business to improve our patients’ quality of life, not just provide a medical service. This commitment to excellence, and the development of patient relationships, is what will make NDBC the standard for comparison in this field.
Are you ready to specialize in concussion management? We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team as we continue to grow in the Twin Cities and expand our services for our patients. We are seeking an OT who values their work environment, team work, and opportunity to grow in their career! NDBC prides itself in dedication to the latest research, attending the best continuing education, presenting case studies and educational sessions at national level, and truly being the standard all others are compared to. In addition we value a fun and flexible work environment! Work life balance is highly valued!
Our Occupational Therapist will work with our medical team at expanding the resources available to our patients and primarily those with concussions. After a comprehensive workup that includes state of the art diagnostic testing, computerized dynamic posturography, and evidence based evaluations, the OT will implement treatment to return patients to their prior level of function in regards to cognitive and visual deficits.
Qualifications
Experience with concussion, cognitive therapy, and vision therapy is preferred. The OT will be involved in growing the OT program at NDBC as well. NDBC also provides our employees the training and mentorship that they need to become expert clinicians. The NDBC Rehab team continues to advance their knowledge with monthly journal club, attendance at national conferences, and additional monies for the CE courses needed to grow the OT program.
The position will be between 2 clinics to start – Blaine primarily with some time spent in our Edina clinic with the position eventually at only 1 of those 2 clinics.
